I am thinking about ordering a grip for my CZ sp01. Are there any parts that are common breakage on these guns. I read somewhere that the trigger return spring and the slidestop. I could order these at the same time. Or has CZ improved their product that these do not fail as often.

Hi Jay,,..just from what others have told me, I would order a spare trigger return spring, spare extractor spring/or X-tra power extractor spring,..spare extractor, AND spare slide lever/slide lock lever. The parts I have heard most often breaking are the slide stop and trigger return spring.
Actually, I suggest that you get two slide-stops. This way, you can use one for practice/dry-fire, one for matches only(so it doesn't break during a match) and one as a spare. A few trigger return springs is always good to have as well. I also suggest that you get an extractor for 9mm, extractor spring and extractor pin just in case. You never know when you are gonna need it.

,..I had to order some spare FPB springs, firing pin-pin, and extractor pin,..(it can get hammered a bit some times and walk loose) The Tanfoglio and CZ are similiar, and I actually had to have the Sear spring replaced by Rob as mine was worn thru. the springs are pretty inexpensive,..although the slide stop costs a bit more.I probably have 15 or 20 Tanfoglio and CZ springs of various flavours seeded all over my basement. I'll find them next time I move I guess.
