Well I was looking to add a 9mm semi to my collection. I was thinking 1911 for a while now. I bought a Shadow, not Shadow 2 basic model $900. Took it to the range the other day, really nice gun. I like how it fits my hand, it's weight, how it works (perfect). I recommend the SP01, no idea about other guns in the brand.

Excellent pistols, the best accessory I bought for my Shadow SP01 was the CZ Kadet .22LR conversion kit. The kits have jumped in price though. Back in the day (2008) I ordered mine at the same time I ordered the gun, the gun was $799.00 and the conversion kit was $400.00 new from Epps.

bought the shadow as my first 9mm too, I'm liking it more and more with each time that I shoot it.

CZ really seems to be knocking it out of the park across the board with good quality arms at market pricepoints from what I see in the market in so many gun classes. Any time in the future than I expand into the .223 and .308 cals from the old cals I currently have i'll definitely start with CZ as my manufacturer of choice.

Next rifles I want are all from CZ and include
CZ CZ 805 Bren (first black rifle I actually want beyond the GSG15 I have, and they are similar so complement each other)
CZ 550 FS in .308 or 30-06 (ya ya eventually that leads to both I know)
CZ 455 a version with iron sights.

I have at least a half dozen .22LR guns. Recommend the Ruger Mark lll and the Browning Buckmark over any conversion.

Have owned had a CZ75, SP01 Shadow or other CZ's and used the CZ Kadet conversion kit? They are very accurate, not fussy on ammo and are quite solid.

As for a dedicated .22 pistol I recommend the S&W SW22 Victory over the Ruger's and Buckmarks that I have owned.
