OK.. So the kids Disneyworld trip is funded, now it's time to start saving for my trap gun.
It's either the CZ sporter or the FN CS1... I've shot both and can't decide which I like best.
I realize that these aren't *Top of the line O/Us but these are in my budget*
Any input is much appreciated! Thanks!

No personal experience with the CZ, but I own an SC1 and find it to be a very fun and easy gun to shoot. I'd highly recommend it.

I don't have much experience with either.. hoping someone can sway me in the right direction.
I'm just looking for advice as this will be my first trap gun.

I wouldn't buy the FN because of that disgusting stock! Realistically they are both adjustable combs so you don't have to worry about fit as much so much unless one you find is a weird LOP since you have shot them both should be easy to tell. I have had a good experience with CZ, I have a bobwhite I use for woodcock when I first got it I was having problems with primer punching the firing pins were to long, sent it to Dlask arms in BC got it back in 2 weeks, all CZ has a 7 year warranty! I haven't had problems with it since and I have put well over 1500 rounds though it between hunting and the occasional round of skeet and that's with there low end sxs. I have seen the Sporter and the ones I have seen had nice wood and feel pretty nice, also they are heavy and come with kicks chokes which is a big bonus IMO. Personally I would lean to the CZ for the customer service value and appeal.

I'm looking at approx. 500-1000 rounds per year... That's just a guestimate.
I may buy 5 boxes of clays and shoot them all in one day.. so I may be totally off on that figure.

I love the way the stock looks on the FN.. I personally like the black stock better, but a friend of mine already owns the black version.
The CZ has more of the "Classic" trap/skeet gun look, which I like a lot as well.

I shot both guns fairly well, and the LOP felt about the same.

It's great to know that CZ offers good customer service, and that may play a big role as to which gun I choose.

Thanks for the input so far! Cheers :)
