Anyone have any experience with these? Eyeing one up at a local shop with grade 3 stock for $1699, comes with 10 chokes, 30 inch barrels. Would be my first O/U and first shotgun that I actually went out to buy. Looks very nice, adjustable comb, price seems ok from what I have seen.

CZ tends to make a good product overall, but would like some experienced opinion.

Uses would just be for casual clay shooting mostly but I would not be deterred form birds as well.

Thanks.

You're paying a B gun price, and you're not getting a B gun. This may not be an issue for low volume shooting, but if you ever try to sell it, you will take a big hit on resale value.

Cosmic is right on resale value, however the CZ will hold up as well as a B-Gun, it is designed and built as a target model and will hold up to that duty. You can't buy a new B-gun for the same money, and the quality control on some of the lower end B-guns isn't what it once was.

Felt decent, I don't have a lot of experience but I don't remember anything bad about it.

I was asking because there is a tons of good brands/models out there but I would not buy one if it don't feel good.

I think you can't go wrong with any CZ products but is it better than lets say a base model Citori ? I dunno...

I'm not an expert so i will let other people chime in...

Buy a used Browning or Beretta for that money... you will get a better gun and you likely won't loose a dime on resale, if you take care of it.
