When the gun fires the safety has to be wiggled before it will fire again. Any ideas?

Thanks

Poor fitment, probably super tight. Take apart and see what/where there is rub marks. Smooth out with very high grit paper super lightly. Clean, light oil and try again.

With hammer back you should get a nice solid click when you engage and disengage the thumb safety!
Do you feel and hear this?

Video would be good

Pics OK?
Here are a pair of my Shadow 2’s for reference.

1’st pic shows both the standard flat safety and the wide safety with them lying flat:

2’nnd pic shows view from rear. The shelf on the wide safety is great for my thumb:

Two thumbs forward grip with thumbs under the wide safety it’s really easy under recoil to tap it up a bit. Not an issue so much with the narrow safety. So thumb on top of the wide works really well.

I mean video of the issue happening. as well, take the slide off and #### the hammer and see if the sear is hanging up on the safety leg, there is a hump that rotates under the sear to block it when the safety is "on" and should rotate fully out of the way when "off". You may need to stone the sear a small amount to get the clearance.

So what happened to Moe?
folks would like to help U
You still watching your thread?

I'm still here. Just trying to sort out in my head what is being discussed. I will do a range trip and try some things before I proceed with any modifications. It could be grip as some have mentioned.

Cheers

Solved! Well it was far simpler than I like to admit. I knew there was an overtravel set screw but I didn't notice until tonight that there is also a set screw for limiting the forward travel of the trigger. As it turned out that was set to far out and this did not allow the trigger to travel far enough forward to allow the trigger bar to reset with the sear.

One would think the folks at CZ would test fire expensive guns like this but obviously they don't.

Thanks to all of you who chimed in to help out. Much appreciated.

Cheers

make sure you loctite that screw, it probably wasn't loctited from the factory and walked while you were shooting
