CZ UB announces the creation of IPSC Team CZ Canada

Yeah in your letter put that you would be willing to switch to CZ if you have too. I wonder how that would come across?

So if requried to switch which sounds better CZSVISTI1911 or SVISTI1911CZ, or do you think they would make me drop the rest from my handle?

Why not pick up a CZ 1911 then? Something from their Dan Wesson line could do the trick.

If you are applying just to get a free gun, in my opinion you are in it for the wrong reasons. This is a groundbreaking moment in sport shooting in Canada and the privilege of being involved should not be overlooked by anyone applying.

Indeed. Well said.

Well said x2. Good on CZ to step up and support some Canadian shooters. Maybe we will see some others also step in after this. I see it as a positive for all.

Why don't you comedians start another thread and stop being so f**king disrespectful of what CRAFM is bringing to competitive shooting in Canada.

Well if we are all A-holes about it, ot makes it easier for you guys to look good and get the sponsorship! :D

Seriously though, nobody is saying anything disrespectful to Frank. He has done a lot for IPSC in Canada, Ontario and at many local clubs. Thanks to him and CRAFM for that. That being said the rest of you need to relax.

.....and right on queue, as is typical of the Canadian IPSC mindset, out come all the sarcastic, back-handed, passive-aggressive smarmy insults that pretty much guarantee we'll all shoot ourselves in the face and loose any chance of real industry support in this country. The sad thing is that it really doesn't take any extra effort to be positive on occasion, or gracious, or just say thank you, or congratulations, or just say nothing at all if you can't offer anything meaningful.

I get it; if it's not ST/VI it's crap, right? Way to crap in every one else's cornflakes guys. Well done!

I'll throw this out here and see if it sticks...

Were I a manufacturer putting together a team to represent my brand, I'd select people of ability who can present themselves -and my brand- in a positive, respectful and sportsmanlike way.

wow, you'd think we were making dead baby jokes or putting up pics of Muhammed blowing a camel. Relax

I am relaxed. This is my relaxed face. And for the record, no, I'm not applying.

I guess I'm wondering why there always has to be someone who just HAS to drop in out of nowhere to tell the five year old on Christmas day, "you know that Santa is really dead don't you?" just so they can sit back and chortle at the reaction. Yes, it's very funny.....for you.

Lol...easy there Rob, I was poking fun at everyone on this thread
Sure, I'm taking it easy. No worries there. Just can't figure out what's so funny about all this is what I'm saying. For some people this would be a pretty important thing and I happen to think it's a huge step in the right direction for the Canadian shooting sports.
