Hi... You guys remember how it looked in the beginning, then i decided to change a few things, like put an extra low scope mount and loose the spacer under cheek rest, and cut down the stock a little to make overall height less. So everything worked great and at the end i actually lost an inch of a total height. The only problem that i came across was the super low mount that was just too low. I had to ask Kasat to make me a second bracket that has a rail welded significantly higher. he didnt just make it higher, but also recessed the rail deeper in to the bracket which put the scope exactly in the center. Also i didnt like the way i painted the stock the first time, so i refinished that as well. So here are some pics of my all new Vintorez Clone. :) enjoy. :)

First pic is before.... the rest after... :)

I don't think it looks that bad^ but please paint or refinish that stock! It looks like imitation wood made out of cheap plastic (at least in pictures).

it does look a little weird in the picture, but looks good in real life... you can really see the wood grain now.

looks like a cheap air soft gun with a fake silencer.

Well the whole idea of this particular clone is a special silenced barrel. So i didnt have much choice, considering our laws.. got to be fake. :)
you dont have to like it... to each their own.

there are few more projects on the go.. CZ - SVD will be ready soon. Also, i'm pimping out a TT 33.. you'll see that one when the time comes, in appropriate forum.. :)

Thanks for the pictures and post Dmitri, nice work. Really respect your ability to work on your rifle coming up with original ideas and custom look.
