I have a csa vz-58 and a cz 858 tactial 4v, there are a few differences i have noticed in the tigger setup, the csa has a spring missing on it when comparred to the cz, I find the csa trigger very soft , once the takeup is gone it fuctions perfectly, would this spring thats missing cause the soft trigger, ....if so where do I find one of these springs. I was also looking to find extra E clips for the trigger pin & Sear Pin on the CSA vz-58 .Any advice fellow gunnuters....???? Anybody got these parts????

I cant tell you how it would effect anything but i can tell you i have both and my csa has no spring and the cz858 does. Same as yours.

I assume the spring is there for trigger takeup, without the spring the takeup is soft , your pulling against no pressure until the travel is gone and you against the sear.
Interesting, I downloaded a military field manual on the vz-58, and in the trigger parts breakdown, they list all components and there is no spring in the parts list.I guess these rifles are closer to the military versions, I also see there are no welded blocks in the recevier......interesting

That is were the safety disconnector is supposed to go and why we can not enhance the trigger pull on this rifle. Plus...
The main reason is because our all loving government decided that the safety disconnector wasn't deemed a good thing and it would stop catastrophic out of battery ignition. But hell think of the children they thought that they would save.
@$$ hats at the RCMP Lab who came up with this mandate should be stripped of all rank and forced to serve out the rest of there carrier in the Artic circle protecting the ice from snow.
