CZ vs.....

cz without a doubt is the most underated gun on the market, rivals the accuracy of the sig p210 steyrs m9-a1 is about the same price as the glock and a much better design, as tough, eats anything, do a little research on it and handle it you may prefer it over the cz. In any case all good guns cz gets my vote for metal frame and steyr for poly.

Of the three you picked I would say the Storm should be your last choice.
Not to say the Storm is a bad choice.

However you may want to consider a third polymer pistol to round out the stable, a Sig SP2022. (IMO a decocker is better than a manual safety on the slide, SP has tritium sights rather than the phosphorescent sights on the PX4 that need "Charging")

My personal experience is that these three shoot / operate significantly differently from each other and so complement each other in range of choices of what to shoot.

From the factory the trigger on the CZ is the best, then the SP then significantly in third is the G17 trigger. (though I've modded it now to be how I like it - very inexpensively I might add with the 25 cent trigger job and new 3.5 # kit and spring.)

(actually the SA trigger pull on the CZ and the SP are very good)

Since I bought the G17 first I had a steep learning curve to get decent control on the trigger pull. It makes shooting the CZ even sweeter.

I'd look into the STI GP6 - polymer framed gun with a rotating barrel like the px4 and a CZ grip ergonomics! Just might be what you need! :) I kinda want one myself....

Hey thanks for the suggestions, RedDuc. That SIG was totally off my radar for some reason. I'll have to try and find one to have a look/feel.
Yes I realize my list is diverse and they are not really in the same category but I will probably be buying "a few". Likely a poly and a steel to start with...

So now you have self realized there is no "perfect" choice. (Oh, Snap!)

Also I think if I were to buy a first Glock I'd buy a G22. Because I believe you can simply re-barrel it from .40SW to 9mm. (Storm Lake barrel if IRC) I may stand corrected.

If you do get a chance to compare a SigPro to a Glock you'll notice that the quality of the Sig polymer is way better than the Glock. (at least the non RTF version)
(but, there is is oh snap!, Glock has a better finish on the slide )

Also the SigPro SP2022 comes with 2 sizes of interchangeable grips.

I'm sure you won't go wrong by buying a CZ 75/85. It's my favorite.
