Cz/vz Forward Mount

am nearing completion on a forward mount for the 858 that will work with a reflex style sight (eotech/aimpoint) and was wondering how much interest is out there for such a creature? of course i will post pics when it is all said and done for the final judgement.

no it is basically a modded ( is that a word? ) top handguard with a rail on it. the rail will be noticably lower than that of the marstar unit. only bad thing is point of aim will change every time it is disaasembled for cleaning. i don't really see it as that big of a deal though as these guns are generally a cqb type rifle and the shift should be minimal

That's a significant issue for many. Particularly if the Scout Scopes mount does return to zero reasonably well.

If you can figure out a method to ensure return to (or close to) zero, I'm sure there'd be interest in the handguard mount.

I was thinking of making a mount like roosters m14 scout scope mount.
But mount it forward of the gas block on the VZ 58

that is sure a long way up there on the barrel though, would significantly alter the balance

OR, you could just buy the OKO mount and be done with it...

i have seen the oko mount before but never did see anyone who sells them? is there a dealer in canada who handles them?
