CZ452 American (Butt Plate)...

I've only seen pics with the Americans coming with thin plastic butt plates until I saw this...

Looks like the same one they put on the Varmint,anyone know if the Americans are coming in with rubber butt plates now?

I've been sitting on the fence about picking up a CZ for the last couple of weeks so I've been doing a bit of reading up on them. Every picture I've seen of the recent production ones have had the rubber recoil pads on them (both the Americans and the Varmints)...

I bought one new last week. It has a plastic butt plate. No idea how long it was sitting on the shelf, though.

Mine also has a plastic butt plate and I got it mid of last year. But really it's a .22 it has no recoil so whats the concern?

I have a 50th anniversary model that has a rubber butt plate on it. I think they were made in 2005. It doesn't slip off your shoulder.

More of a personal preference over anything,and as topgun mentioned it doesn't slid off your shoulder...

Fair enough...mine is more of a range toy so i don't find i need to worry about mine sliding off my shoulder and never found it did even when i used it to hunt.
