CZ452 Varmint

You can get significant improvement in the 452 trigger by some cheap modifications. A guy named Brookes in the states sells a simple kit with various light springs to replace the trigger spring with to reduce pull weight. The creep can be reduced in measured amounts by installing a simple brass tube sleeve over one of the pins in the trigger mechanism. Easy to install with a block of wood and a punch.

I am told that a Canadian has duplicated the simple parts in the Brookes kits and will be selling it soon. Kits cost less than $20.00.

Me, I just backed off the adjusting nut as far as it would go, then snipped a turn off the coil spring and ground it back to a taper. Nice light trigger that cost me nothing to do. There is lots of knowledge and know how on the CZ 452's.
