Finally got my gun together after the first shipment of scope rings were stolen by Canada post. Its a CZ452 with the Mannlicher full stock. The wood looks darker in person. Wood is ok- I would have preferred darker, I might stain it later or refinish.

So this is what I put on the pig...

Leupold 3x9 EFR VXII Rimfire scope
Rimfire technologies 11mm to Weaver conversion rail top
Burris QD type rings
Leupold Alumina filters
Some cheapo Butler creek scope pop ups

yeah hoping to try it out maybe this weekend

Unless you have a safe full of Anschutz's, you should find that your Full stock is the most accurate 22 you have ever shot, I have all of the CZ's excert a Style and my FS is the best.
Regards G

did you find it liked a particular type of ammo?

The more expensive the ammo the less ragged the one hole is. I have shot mine with with american eagle HP, Win Power Points, Rem Game load, Lapua Super club, Lapua Master M, lapua trainer.
I haven't tried any of the Hyper velocity ammo like Quik Shocks or Stingers yet. typically the target speed of rimfire ammo are you better grouping choices. FS

Nice looking rifle and a good choice of optics. I have a VXII 4-12 AO on my Quad and really like it.

I got a great buy on some of the 2-7 x28 Leupold rimfire scopes a while back now. This is the scope I have on many of my 22's. My BL 22, Bucmark varmint, and my full stock. FS

Maybe it's because I'm getting older, but I sure am starting to look at 'better' scopes as I age. The nice thing is that you can sell the gun out from under them and they can be put on the next one. The problem is when you start to get more guns.:D

yeah lifes to short for #### scopes. The glass on this one is about the same price as the gun, even more when you add in the mounts, rail and filters...who cares if it works though. Compared to high end optics for a centerfire rifle this rimfire scope was pretty cheap.:D

its well built, the only think seems abit cheap on it is the stock end cap is plastic, otherwise its pretty solid

I read somewhere that the CZ centerfire endcap should fit as a metal replacement. No idea if its true.

Is the buttplate also plastic on the 452FS?

not buttplate, its a large thick recoil pad, actually looks high quality. Although Im not sure why its there as its only a .22
