CZ75 and .22 Conversion

I am curious as to whether the .22 conversion for a CZ constitutes another restricted weapon? Do you have to register twice? Techincally, the action is changed out and it is different, except for the lower. Just wonderin. :D
 
Nope, it's is just a slide (and .22 magazine); the receiver is what constitutes a "firearm" and is already registered. I personally have had the Kadet kit for my 9mm 75B for two years now, and it has been the most reliable and accurate .22 pistol I have ever owned, and it converts calibres in seconds: the weight, and trigger are the same, which makes it great for cheap IPSC practise or teaching others (or children) to shoot. You'll like it. By the way, it will eat any type of ammo and I personally like the Fiocchi standard velocity stuff--slide automatically holds open after last round. Hope this helps.
 
I agree with everything MacDeth said except I've never tried anything other than the cheap ammo since I've never had any functioning or accuracy issues with it. Mine is on my SP01.
