Just curious, has anyone got (or know of anyone who has) a CZ75B Stainless with the matte finish? I don't think I recall ever seeing the matte ones advertised by any Canadian dealer.

Hehe nice free plug for the CZ I have for sale! Thanks flyer415. Mine isn't matte stainless, there are no matte stainless ones to my knowledge. The ones that look matte stainless are either beadblasted, or really the nickle finish.

Actually there is a matte version. The polished versus matte issue is well established on U.S. CZ forums and in fact the matte version is what used to appear on the CZ USA website (now there's no stainless at all) and still appears on the main site. It definitely exists (and I'm not confusing it with the Satin Nickel finish which has been around for years) but I don't think any ever made it into Canada for some reason.

So a day or two after I started this thread I'm in Target Sports to get some ammo. I look down into the display case and HOLY JEEBUS WHAT IS THAT?
It's a firkin CZ75B Matte Stainless!! And that's not all, it also has the new extended beavertail that's showing up on all the new CZs! It was like seeing the Queen and Bigfoot walking hand in hand across my lawn or something. Anyway, there was no way I could just leave it there, so a few weeks later here we are (not the best pic, but it's late):

The picture does not do the gun justice, it is gorgeous. Took it out to the range today for the first time and of course it was typically CZ: accurate. It'll be even better when I get a competition hammer, lighter mainspring, comp sights, and aluminum grips installed.

Nice looking pistol. I have the two-tone as well as a blued version but the all matte stainless looks pretty sweet. That gun is just aching to have a set of aluminum thin grips put on it.

If I had known that gun was around at Target Sports I would have bought it. I ended up buying a CZ 75B Omega from P&D and a S&W 686 so I am happy.

That is a nice gun and a good score since they are a little hard to find in matte stainless.

I saw the picture of the matte version on the CZ website and ordered a stainless. When it arrived, the pistol was stainless but shiny. I contacted the company and they checked the website to confirm that there even was a matte version. Anyways they offered to bead blast mine for me at no charge to make it a matte version after they realized that there are two versions. So here's my matte CZ75B with rosewood grips.

Cool, now you have something unique. I assume it was the dealer you are referring to and not CZ?
