I love the 75 and sp01 steel frame guns but love polymer too.
When I saw some pics of the phantom it piqued my interest.
Anybody here own one? Most importantly how much do they go for?

Once you clean up the trigger, which is roough and heavy, gun is super accurate like all CZ's. Trigger pull can be made light but first pull is still long and heavier than a tuned striker fired gun. CZ;s 1 -10 twist is a feature over the M&P's 1 - 18 twist for sure.

I know TSE in Calgary has a few... unless they sold them in the last few days. give them a call and see what their price is... i think it was $750

There may be one at Target Sport Center, $650. I liked it but I like the Shadow better, and end up with a Shadow. I would suggest you to compare both the phantom and the shadow if you can. CRAFM sell the Shadow @ $740, I think it is the best deal.

That trigger can easily be fixed by installing a competition hammer. Changes the gun completely and turns it into a real pleasure to shoot

The Shooting Edge

Yes, The Shooting Edge sells them for $749.

A Flaherty's has the Shadow, 75B, & 85 Combat @ $799.99, $660.00, and $729.99.

Frontier Firearms also carries the Shadow & 85 Combat, along with Satin Nickeled versions of the 75 B, 85 Combat, and regular P07

You could, I suppose, also special order the CZ SP-01 Shadow Target. CZ says it is a competition-ready USPSA Production Division pistol. Starting with a trigger job by world champion Angus Hobdell’s CZ Custom Shop, this version of the SP-01 Shadow gets the competition treatment including a TRT rear sight, aluminum grips, competition springs and a CZ Custom stainless guide rod. Are you ready? Standby……..

I personally own a more glossy finished 75B, that has shot flawless for me. Personally, I prefer single action guns, and would never buy another in double action.... but I don't shoot any of the competitive shooting sports, and make very little time for handguns these days. SO, uh, yeah, my opinion doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot, other than a preference for 1911 framed guns.

Picture attached shows my 75B, with a SAM Titan .45 in the same photo.

Dizzy where did you get a Competition hammer that would work on the Phantum with the decocer?

good catch. my oversight. The ones we were shooting were heavily modified. The easy comp trigger swap is NOT for the decocker models, any of them.
