CZ75 Pre B magazine replacement

I can't seem to find any accurate information. I am trying to get a couple extra magazines for a pre b (1986) CZ 75 pistol. Someone said Mecgar sells them, but then I heard they are unreliable and require altering to fit and feed properly.
Does anyone have any firsthand experience for magazine replacements for this 9mm? Thanks so much in advance.

I have two pre B 75s and one has no problem with those magazines, and one that will just oh so barely hold onto them. Fire one round and it will pop out. The only way for you to know it to try one, unfortunately.

Addition:
MecGar does not currently make mags that fit the original (pre-B) CZ 75.
