CZ75 SA - action & trigger?

Anyone have experience with the CZ 75 single action only pistols?

Regarding the 75B SA, I note that the 40S+W model (which converts to 9mm, w/ and EFK barrel) has NO firing pin block? Does this significantly simplify the action of the gun due to the absence of the FPB and the DA trigger? Is it going to be more reliable and easier to work on (Yeah, all CZs are reliable ... I mean, SUPER reliable! And easier to disassemble/assemble?)?

I believe the SA only guns also have a half-#### notch; can you fire the pistol from the half-#### or do you have to manually pull the hammer all the way before firing? Does the safety engage on the half-####, like on the Shadow?

How do you like the adjustable straight blade trigger on the SA?

In competing with the SA, can you carry it cocked & locked? If not, does cocking handicap you or you just get used to it?

I had one in .40 and it was great.

Very accurate, more than my Para Ordnance 16.40 LTD. Very good trigger pull also.

The only thing you have to be careful with is the ones with the non metal trigger, I have heard that trigger can break, but mine was fine.

As it is SA only, you can only use it for ESP in IDPA or Standard in IPSC, and you would start cocked and locked in both of those competitions. It would be a good choice for ESP but maybe not the best for IPSC Standard as you shooting Major loads if you get a .40 against heavier guns (Tanfanglio or CZ Tactical Sport).

Thanks Tobin ... Competition regs aside, your experience is that the SA (cocked & locked) allows for a competitive advantage over a DA start? Curious if there is really any good reason to have a DA pistol.
