CZ75 Safety vs Decocker

I don't want a safety. I want my wife to be able to shoot without needing to remember extra steps (like take off the safety).
Tried 986 Pro revolver, 14lb Double Action trigger pull too hard, needs 2 hands/thumbs to even get into cocked position.

So I was thinking the SP-01 Tactical.

I though the decocker would ensure, round chambered + trigger pulled = gun fires without any safeties getting in the way. And if the first round is a double action it would still be a hellofa lot easier then the current beast.

Can the SP-01 be changed from a safety to decocker? It looks like the CZ75B Omega can go either way... and has an easier trigger assembly to maintain.
 
Why not get a striker fired pistol? Most of those have no manual safety at all, with a consistent trigger pull for each shot.
 
As far as I recall the cutouts on the CZ75B for safety and CZ75BD for the decocker are different. The decocker does appear have a larger cutout, so it could be possible, but it won't be as simple as pushing some pins and changing small parts.

If you're concerned about just not having a manual safety, you can go with a striker fired (hell, the CZ P10 is pretty cheap right now) and have the same trigger pull each time without having to disengage anything.

That said, it's all preference. I personally prefer a decocker option and that's why the HK USP and Sig P-series are among my favorites.
 
I didn't notice much difference in the trigger feel between my CZ75 SP-01 Tactical in SA mode and my CZP10C.

They both have approximately the same pull weight (4-5 lbs) and about the same amount of creep. Trigger reach is approximately the same as well (when the CZ75 is in SA mode).

I suppose the CZ75 trigger can be fine tuned to be a much better trigger than the CZP10C, but out of the box I wouldn't say the CZ75 SP-01 Tactical trigger is hugely better than the P10C.

Last year I had the opposite problem, I had CZ75 SP01 Tactical but I wanted a standard safety model LOL I swapped and traded until ended up with a P10C, which I'm quite happy with.

Great now I gotta feel the CZ P10C in the hand.
Hate the Glock series, too much movement/pinch points and they felt like a brick, absolutely loved the Shadow with rubber grips.
What I really need is a range to line these up, let me pop off a few shots and go home with something I have tried, where are the test drives? Not in Edmonton.

Quick question, is there a 22LR Kadet kit for the P10C? This doesn't look like it would fit https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-75-kadet-adapter-ii-22-lr-adj-sights-10-rd-mags-will-fit-omega-system/
 
as much as its not popular the sd9 has a wonderfully safe trigger. Its a good gun for what I think your intended purpose is. I bought one a few years ago, I have been focusing on my shadows though. If I were to give a newb a gun to shoot that was un experienced the sd9 would be the smarter choice.

The CZ P-10 series feel a whole lot better in hand than a Glock. Much more ergonomic with a nice beavertail and trigger undercut already built in. The grip angle is much more straight and the grip shape isn't a block.

I have ran over 14k rounds through 2 different P-10Cs and over 10k through my competition P-10F. Only had a few malfunctions on the Cs due to a bad mag spring and never a single malfunction with the F.

Currently there are no 22 options for the P-10 series.
