CZ75 SP01 9mm Magazines - Who has them in stock right now?

Check wanstalls. I think they had them last week but I was drooling over so many different things I cant say for sure.

Jericho 941 mags will work in CZ75 also. Same with Tanfoglio 9mm mags - Tanfo mags are really nice and shiny but no base plate cushion if you are planning on dropping em. $40 each from Freedom Ventures. Brant Shooting stocks too IIRC.

Northern Republic Magazine has them. Ordered a few just a week or two ago, and they still show as "in stock" on their website.
I'll let you in on a little "tip" though too... (Though this may actually be well known?) Some of the CZ75 magazines chambered in .40 S&W will hold 9mm with no problem, and they can be easier to find sometimes. Just a warning, though - not all types will hold the 9mm. I have one .40 mag whose feed lips will not hold the 9mm in place, but I have 2 .40 CZ mags that will easily hold the 9mm. (The ones I got that DO work were bought from Marstar). As a bonus, if you use the .40 mags, you can fit 13 or 14 rounds of 9mm in easily. This has been discussed a lot lately here on CGN, and it IS perfectly legal according to the RCMP (they even issued a Bulletin clarifying this).

Link to RCMP bulliten?

Sorry, at work on my BlackBerry so can't easily do that right now, but if you search through the posts here in the last week or so, you should find at least 2 recent threads on it. One was in the Action Shooting forum (someone was asking about it in relation to IPSC rules).
When I get home this evening, if I can find the links, I'll post them

Found the link....

Note specifically paragraph 5, and the example they themselves use. Says that using a .40 magazine in a 9mm pistol (if it fits, and works, of course!) is perfectly legal, even if you can get more than 10 rounds of 9mm into the magazine. The limit on magazines to 10 rounds is based on what round the magazine was designed to hold, not how many of another caliber it can actually hold. So, if your .40 S&W magazine was designed to use .40 S&W (and is marked as such), and only holds 10 rounds of .40 S&W, but you can squeeze 13 rounds of 9mm into it and still use it, then you are not doing anything illegal. At least as far as the RCMP are concerned, anyway. I would, however, suggest that if you plan on doing this, you print out a copy of this bulletin and keep it with you, because not many LEOs may be aware of this, nor many Fudd R/Os - they may insist it's illegal.

Note that modifying a magazine is, to my knowledge (which I admit is limited!), illegal. So if your .40 magazine "almost" holds the 9mm rounds, but not quite, I'd suggest you resist the urge to alter the lips a wee bit so that they'll hold the 9mm. Pretty sure that would be a big no-no. Which is why I mentioned that I have three .40 mags, 2 of which work with 9mm, and another which doesn't - that third one, the lips are just a bit too wide, and the 9mm just spring right back out.

This whole topic usually seems to generate a bunch of discussion whenever it comes up, every few months. Another example of out ridiculous, convoluted and difficult-to-understand firearms laws.

I bought a .40 mag for my 9mm, I can legally fit 14 - 9mm's, I bought it from Marstar sponsor, they have 40's and 9mm mags,

Mec-Gar .40 S&W 10 CZ 75 $34.95 In Stock
Mec-Gar CZ 75 Compact 9mm 10 Blued $34.95 In Stock

Hey guys, i was also looking getting a couple mags for my shadow and when i saw you could use .40 cal mags for the 9mm pistol i wanted to do that. However after contacting the aforementioned dealers they said that they are unsure that the mags would function correctly. As well, after talking to someone from Marstar he mentioned that his .40 cal mec-gar mags had a special coating on them and without a pistol to try it out on he doesn't know if they will fit correctly. Can anyone here vouch for that particular magazine (http://www.marstar.ca/dynamic/category.jsp?catid=78913) because it seems like the best bang for buck out there. Thanks guys.

Thanks for the replies. I just didn't want to buy it to figure out it doesn't cycle well but i guess the video is pretty conclusive. I'll try it out as soon as possible. I called the CFP today and found out my registration and ATT's were just authorized yesterday so now i'm waiting for the papers to come through the mail so i can go pick my baby up :p. Can't wait!
