CZ75 vz CZ75SP01 ?

That was easy...LOL Just to add the CZ75 SP01 is heavier than a CZ75B... and it also does not have the firing pin block of the CZ75B so the trigger is much nicer out of the box..

SP01 has some upgrades out of the box, better trigger, high visibility sights, rail, etc.

SP01 is a bit heavier then the 75 too

Hey i thought i just said that.. LOL

Here is a beautiful version of the CZ75B

dam fine weapon shoots very well..smooth trigger,,BUT the rear site is one big screw up...should have had adjustable instead of the "hammer to get aligned " type:rolleyes:

I have both the SP01 tactical and 75B stainless nice guns. I find the later to balance a little better in the hand.

I have never had the need to adjust the rear on my 75b in the 5 years and 10,000 rds I have put through it.
Several bullet weights reloaded and all weights of factory.
Serves me quite well in IPSC and IDPA.

good for you ,, btw did you freeze your 75b first then ,, warm it up in the stove, then throw it into acid, maybe shoot it with 45 acp..dah

whatever when my unit was recieved it in april/2012 with proof target,, it shot left. it needed to be adjusted so whatever YOU NEED TO HAMMER THE SIGHT TO ALIGN IT and has nothing to do with a 1,000,000,000 trwazytrilion IPSC & !DPA shots d:h:

Just a question about that 75B New Edition.
Compare to 75 SP01, it has firing pin block. Can anybody share with me, how does that affect trigger ? It may be naive question, but does it need any polishing, parts replacement to make it sort of competition grade ?

Thanks in advance.

The addition of the firing pin block will make the trigger have a more robust trigger pull... More moving parts = heavier trigger pull. Leave this out as in the 75 SP01 shadow and the trigger pull will be able to be tuned to a much lower trigger pull. Thats about it.. The trigger on the 75B is not really that bad as the more you shoot it the more you get used to it.. Its just you can never really get the 75B trigger to equate to the Shadow trigger...

Love the sarcasm.
Just countering your claim they screwed the pooch by not including adjustable sights.
Backing it with the fact the gun gets shot a lot.
Mine Shot straight from factory and after I replaced the sights with fixed competition sights.
Adjustable sights are over rated for anything but static target shooting.

Double action you can get almost as good a trigger pull with lighter springs and dry firing , single action will always be slightly worse but not a hindrance to most shooters.

Thanks for responses !

And another question. This New Edition seems to have upgraded beavertail (like Shadow), compared to original 75B. Does that contribute to better grip ?

And except surface finish, are internals identical the original 75B or they are same ?

Reason why I'm asking is that I've read once that somebody mentioned 85 Combat has better internal components compared to 85B. I don't have experience with any of these guns, so can't comment.

To the OP
if you are considering the 75 and the SP01, go for the SP01 Shadow. It has a pretty light 3.5 to 4 lb trigger, and SP 01 has a full length frame and slide engagement, which stabilize the slide and frame much better than a regular 75. Just my opinion.
