I found copper deposits on the CZ 75B slide stop after using CCI Blazer Brass 9mm 115gr. I did not see it before while using same kind of CCI Blazer Brass 9mm but 124gr.
Ok. Thanks for explanation. So that copper actually has to be there.
I don't think that is a paste. I am pretty sure slide stop was black before. It looks like it is a layer of copper coating which was under that top black coating. And it looks to be pretty thick because it doesn't easily come off with copper solvents.
Should I buy an anti seize paste such as Permatex Copper Anti-seize and use it on slide stop or just keep lubing it with regular gun oil?
I suspect the pin is braised to the stop on the newer production stuff?? I know my spare for my shadow I recently picked up looks like there is braised joint with a hint of copper
