I found copper deposits on the CZ 75B slide stop after using CCI Blazer Brass 9mm 115gr. I did not see it before while using same kind of CCI Blazer Brass 9mm but 124gr.

Is that normal?

Why would they deem it necessary to put copper anti-seize there of all places?
I understand why copper, solvents can remove it but, why anti-seize?

Copper Anti seize used to lube the pin of the slide catch. Why? because the barrel lug cams on it during locking and unlocking.

Glock is using copper anti seize on their guns too

Ok. Thanks for explanation. So that copper actually has to be there.

I don't think that is a paste. I am pretty sure slide stop was black before. It looks like it is a layer of copper coating which was under that top black coating. And it looks to be pretty thick because it doesn't easily come off with copper solvents.

Should I buy an anti seize paste such as Permatex Copper Anti-seize and use it on slide stop or just keep lubing it with regular gun oil?
