Hello folks.

Was just wondering: does the CZ75B Single Action only possess any advantages over the CZ75B DA/SA???? Might the trigger be more sweet??? Would be very interested in any opinions.

I am not into competitive shooting at all and will not be. I just like to go to the range now and then to blast away and have fun.

And I always seem to be shooting in single action anyway, once I have racked the slide to chamber the first round.

So, does the single action only have any useful advantages? Your replies may skew my next purchase one way or the other. Thanks in advance.
 
Yes the trigger is a little bit more smoother than that on the DA/SA but on the other hand the trigger is plastic. I don't know if the newer come with a metal trigger on the SA or not. I do prefer my DA/SA 75B.

Not to hijack your thread or anything, but I have a question for those who own CZ75Bs. The "B" model is in .40sw correct? Most importantly, does anyone know where I can find a couple mags for my buddies Cz75B in .40sw?
I would like to surprise him at XMas....

B's come in 9mm and .40

I think gunsnthings has the best prices for CZ stuff but some supporting dealers carry CZ as well. Armco etc.
 
B's are after a certain date and have some modifications of the original design like a squared off trigger guard front, and I forget what else. The "pre-B's are sometimes called "CZ Classics.
 
Yeah, I would be buying a 9 mm.

Put another way, at Guns&Things, the single action only is about $40 more for the single action only as compared to the DA/SA.

My question is: am I getting any kind of an advantage for my $40?

One gentleman said the trigger on the SA only is sweeter. I am not sure why the trigger being plastic or not would be good or bad. I had a 75BD DA/SA and can't recall if the trigger was plastic.

Is the single action only trigger sweeter than the DA/SA?
 
Interesting thing is the DA/SA trigger is metal and many people wonder why they will put a plastic trigger on the SA model. You may also go CZforum to get more information. I personal don't think there are much different between as I use SA all the time. But it will be good to have a DA as well.
