So, i did some research and watched some videos on this and did the conversion myself.
I installed the flat trigger and removed the disconnector and now the gun doesn't work. I did not disassemble the sear cage. When the hammer is down, the trigger moves the sear. When cocked, the trigger does nothing.
Can somebody help me?

I just finished another one yesterday sounds like your travel screws are not set properly back them off to get full trigger travel and adjust from there. Make sure your hammer and sear are in the proper position .

Not sure. I'm at work so i won't be able to do any testing till evening. I did try pushing down and pulling up the trigger bar and it made no difference.
If i hold the trigger at the point of sear contact when cocking the hammer, it works. but, if i let the trigger go after cocking the hammer, i hear a click and then the trigger does nothing.

Make sure your trigger doesn't have set screws all target and comp strait cz triggers I have installed have set screws . If the safety functions with the hammer cocked all is good with the sear. The only other thing that with cause your problem is if you don't have the trigger return spring installed correctly. The trigger has to reset to engage the sear. If you didn't use a slave pin on the install your spring is probably not installed correctly . Hope you get it working .

What manufacture is the trigger and is it cz ? Is it straight comp version or semi cured target version ?When you get that no fire condition if you move the trigger forward and does it reset and fire when you pull it back ?

It's a aluminum flat trigger from Dlask Arms. Not sure who made it.
when i move the trigger it will not fire. For a very short time it worked. when it quits working, no wiggling or moving gets it working.

Take out the trigger and install the original trigger without changing anything it will have a inch of take up but if everything else is ok it will fire single action if that is so you have the wrong trigger. All 75 85 shadow 1 and two use the same trigger

It sounds like the trigger is not resetting without the adjustment screws you may have to clearance the front portion of the trigger where it meets the frame if it worked in a Shadow it must of been hand fitted. The trigger has to move far enough forward to let the sear set. Hard to explain with computer tag.

I suppose i coud file the trigger. I bought it when i had a shadow a year or two ago. i sold the shadow and bought the trigger back to use in my cz75b.
I may have wasted my money...sigh. at least it was cheap.

I just thought of something.
The trigger moves the sear when the hammer is down but not when it's cocked.
The trigger is straight, right to the end. It stops travelling when it contacts the trigger guard.
Maybe it's not moving far enough rearward???

I just did some inspecting on the pistol.
When I install the trigger it works. As soon as I push down the trigger bar for a reset it quits working.
Seems like you were right about it not resetting.
