Okay folks, which way would you lean between these two nines?

I'm leaning towards the CZ because its such a proven product. But.....I'd like to hear all viewpoints.

Might one be better than the other for small hands?

Thanks in advance.

I have a CZ 75B and Man this gun is great. Shoot very well, well build, well made and balance, well worth the money, the grip is very comfortable and fit my small hand nicely. M&P is a good gun but has a short histroy. Some design feature turn me off but it is a very nice gun.

Trigun

The M&P will be easier on your hand for cocking the gun. Also the large ejection port cuts down on the buildup of carbon and less likelyhood of a casing failing to clear the port. The CZ is an excellent gun, but so is the M&P, a tough choice, but with the price point of both, getting both is an option....

I just brought home my M+P I have been shooting a friends and absolutley love it. The interchangable back strap is great, and I also find it pionts with a very natural feeling.

CZ85, with the 22LR Kadet top end...two guns in one...was my first handgun(s).
It still would be my first choice....
The M&P is a nice piece..I have one in 40S&W...definately a keeper...but for a first unit, I would still recommend the CZ....
Fits just about size of hand, accurate, low recoil (all steel) and like a Timex...
'Takes a lickin'..and keeps on tickin....'!

I recently bought a CZ from wolverine.:dancingbanana: I don't have it yet its in the mail. The CZ is my first hand gun and from what I have hear a very good hand gun. If you get one get it from Wolverine they have excellent communication. I will look at the M&P later on.
Do what I did go for the CZ

I've owned a CZ85 and an M&P, as most people are saying it's a tough choice, both are excellent firearms. I'd go with the one that fits you the best. I think it's a little easier to get a holster for the M&P, which may be a consideration if you are thinking of competing and I think the M&P recoil is slightly less noticeable. The M&P also has some of the best fixed sights ever put on a handgun. The CZ has the option of a single action first shot, which will make it initially easier to shoot well, and the double action trigger on the CZ is better too, though the M&P settles down nicely after a few hundred rounds. Either way, both guns will do well for you.

CZ all the way,
the trigger on the MP is !@#$%
The trigger on the Cz is sweet
MP is a tupperware
CZ is made with the best steel on the market
I would believe the CZ to be more accurate, but I can't prove it!

Check Frontier Firearms in the sponsors. You'll get a CZ at 619$

Did I mention I prefer Cz?

It's funny you bring this up, I ran into a guy at silverdale on the weekend asking the same exact thing.

I've fired both before. They're both good choices, but I think the edge goes to the CZ. The SP-01 is nice at handling muzzle flip I hear.

Steel pistol, I'd go for the CZ.

Polymer pistol, I'd go for the G17.

But of your choices I'd take the CZ over the M&P.

My .02...... your mileage may vary.................................... :D
