But seriously, so many options. I went this NEA upper and power handguards - FAB pistol grip and buttstock, waiting for a railed dustcover from ZAHAL.

I can not agree more with this! I Just ordered another stock from them for $25 shipped. The same stock in Canada is $75 plus tax plus shipping!

I hate to buy outside of Canada but you can't beat that price!

Along with the Fab Defense stuff I also added a bunch of NEA after market parts too. Ambi safety, extended ambi mag release and best of all the tactical bolt release.

Trevor, is that front upper still co- witness? It almost looks a little high
I know in your other thread you were saying you were thinking about front optics other wise you just use the irons.
Just looking at this picture it looks a little high.

Little bit yeah. The rail is what does that. If the rail was removed, sanded down sort of thing, then the dimensions would be much closer to stock but still a little higher.

I ended up going with the NEA upper just so the irons are always viable. Something people should keep in mind when they consider new builds. I don't want to always use optics.

My irons are, thankfully. There is a grove right down the middle or the rail and therefore there is zero interference. My irons are my primary sights on my 858. The optic on it right now will actually go on my SU-16. My CZ 858 is my poop hit the fan gun and optics need batteries and or break. Irons are the only way to go when the Zombies start knocking on your door!
