Back before I got my 858
I seem to remember reading somewhere, perhaps even here, that stocks and pistol grips for the AK47 can be very easily modified to fit the 858. I didn't own one at the time and didn't pay too much attention to the comment. Now that I have an 858 I would like to change out the stocks to something that doesn't look like it came from Ikea, but I can't find any reference anywhere to the similarity or difference between the two receivers.
Is this a do-able project? Or am I just imagining something that I wish were true? Any help would be appreciated.
