So today I bought a fab collapsable stock with a absorbing tube the problem is the bolt that holds my original stock on is like three times the thickness. So my question is dose a vz and a cz have diffarent bolt size?

All the VZ models have the same size threaded hole in the receiver.

Does the stock require a threaded insert? Some adapters do.

I guess it might need a thread in adapter the guy who sold it to me made it out to be a bolt up add on. dose any one know where I could get an adapter ?

I have the fab collapsable stock with a absorbing tube same as you and yes there is an adapter that threads into the receiver to allow attaching the butt stock with a smaller diameter allen screw. FYI ......You need to access the allen screw head by going in on an angle so a set of ball drivers would prove VERY handy.

My adapter (stormwerks) came with an insert that looks like the head of a trumpet and goes in from behind (when you drop the top pin and remove the cover). Worked really well.

Did this adapter come with your stock bolton?

Yes but I bought it with the rifle 2nd hand. I would expect it must have come with the stock otherwise there is no way to attach the butt to the receiver. I think the allen screw is "trapped" inside the butt so it's not like you can put a larger diameter bolt in there.
If I attach the factory folder stock I have then I need to remove the adapter and use the big diameter short bolt that comes with the folder.

When I bought mine, I couldn't get the absorbing tube to screw on properly. I took everything to the store I bought it at, they had trouble too. Turns out that the unit was packed wrong at the factory and the package included an absorbing tube for an AK not the CZ.
