Cz858 fad defense handguard for optics.

Hey guys,
Just got my CZ yesterday and ordered a Fab defense handguard. I wanted the NEA top guard, but no where to be found.

I've heard that since it's plastic, mounting optics on there might not be the best. I was thinking of using a little epoxy when installing to keep it from wobbling...any thoughts?

How well does it keep zero for you?

SFRC has the NEA handguard set in stock for 165.

That is my Opinion.

I think the Fab Defense is about it in it's price class. B.C. Tactical makes a set as well, but it is way more than the NEA.

I know the NEA top returns to zero and it's very tight.
IMO a plastic handguard keeping zero will be a challenge. Spend once cry once as it goes.

I have used the fab stuff on all of my vz rifles. I have switched to nea top rails on some of them just for the cowitness. The fab rails always held their zero though and the optics stayed mounted solid, even when the barrels were smoking hot. No worries whatsoever as far as I am concerned.

Awesome. thanks for your input. I will use the Fab one until I can find a NEA one. I'll add a few drips of epoxy where the handguard slides in for a little more ''inssurance''.

I don't think the epoxy is needed. You will lose some patience just getting that sucker on in the first place.

And it will make cleaning a pain in the ass.
