Good youtube action and paint job. The thingy is the follower that holds the bolt open on the last shot. If that is what you're talking about, it's supposed to do that

no the base plate pops above the thing that stops it from coming all the way up, so I can only put in 1 round. I have to jam the base plate down with a screwdriver. I dont know whay it keeps coming up so high,\

sorry thread jack:)

With the straight line stock and brake I can hit a basketball sized target @ 75m every shot emptying a mag in about 3 seconds and never lose sight of the target. Other then a light (less then an AR) direct rearward recoil impulse the rifle remains neutral.

Plus the stainless doesn't corrode.

That's 5 mins with a laundry bag. Pretty quick to cam. Not absolutely "pretty", but the breakup is very effective. You can see how it turns everything into a non-distinct "blob". All lines and angles are melded is to each other, no reflections, no contrast. Exactly what you want for effective camouflage.

I've got a lot of tan in it for deer hunting. Lots of naked birch trees out here and we're expecting snow any day.

Im thinking of painting my new cz 858 woodish stock black, should I just spray it with krylon and be done with it? Or is there other steps im missing here.

i would just stain it really really dark, i dont really like the black paint on mine, i plan on stripping it and staining it. that is when i get some spare time.

Whats the method for that I really don't know, just put the stain on over the stock or should I remove the original finish off the stock first?
