CZ858 Mag Release Install Problem

I am trying to install an extended mag release. I have no instructions.

How do i get the pin out?

I found a You Tube demo, but it has no sound.

You need to remove the little retaining pin first.

Looking inside the receiver you should be able to see end of the split pin with a little retaining nub on one leg of the pin. Using a punch knock it downwards and out. It needs to be pushed out before the mag release/BHO pin can be removed.

Thanks. I have a punch. Is it just an issue of punching it out, or is there something else that has to be done?

If you push the hooked leg of the pin into the hole you can pretty much push it out by hand with a punch, or at least with a light tap of a hammer.

"hooked leg of the pin " Ok, I get it. I have seen the video, but without the sound, I did not understand the step before punching out the pin.
