cz858 NEA extended mag realase

I just bought an extended mag release for my 858. I stripped the rifle and then struck the pin with a punch it would not budge. Does anyone have any suggestions?

That retaining clip is supposed to be the other way around. Drive it out from the inside, not the outside.
