Cz858 prices to take a dive once type81's here.

type 81 is basically an sks with a pistol grip and a mag
the fact that many owners of cz858s will never ever sell them, sinc no more are ever coming in again, also greatly impacts things

Except that the Type 81 ISN'T an sks.
In all reality, if you have ever held or taken a type 81 apart (I have) it is a mix of an SVD, SKS & AK but essentially since alot of people here in canada a haven't even ever held a Dragunov or AK then I can assume why they would think it's an sks
 
two completely different rifles in the same caliber made in two different countries that operate differently. i don't think it will matter and people will hopefully have both.
I will when the price drops to where it should be...
 
Can't be a bad thing to the firearms community to have a gun like type 81 available.
Just hope doubters don't call the RCMP too many times to enquire about it.

Most of the complaints about the Century Arms guns are from years ago, and they run about half the price of their Czech counterparts, neither is great quality-wise but at least the CAI stuff has a price that reflects it.
 
I have a vz58 and have no intention of selling it for the type81.
Can type81 use a magwell adapter to run 10rd LAR mags? No? Pass. I also hate rock to lock mags.

Some of you really need to lay off the recreational drugs.
