After making a stock tool, breaking the bolt free, I was just looking at the bolt and was wondering if there was a reason why the bolt was hollow and why there is a small hole at the tip of the threads? I would like to replace the bolt with a hex bolt. Does any one know the thread size? My basic thread gauge said it was a 12-1.0 metric. Any help would be appreciated.
