CZ858 thread protector spring

Recently got a used CZ858 and at the muzzle there is the thread protector that is held in place by a spring loaded pin. I got the thread protector & the pin OK, but no spring

I was hoping the spring from a cheapo ballpoint pen could be modified (cut to length) to work but it seems to be slightly too large in diameter. Anyone know where I might find something suitable fast & on the cheap?

Try the spring for the flint of a cheapo butane lighter. They are of a smaller diameter.
