I have not heard that but one thing i do know is theres still lots of them around especailly between all the different CZ/VZ/CZH models out there should't be a problem getting one.

Why is this in the B&G section instead of the Red Rifle section?

They have been discontinued since the mid 80s, but reserves are plenty and what we have today is what is left from the reserves, rebuilt to civilian specs.
