Got my CZ858's today. Have one out of the box ready to test on sunday. Should be a blast. Nicer than I thought, by the pics. Come with FOUR 30/5 mags in a nice leather case, cleaning kit with steel oil bottle and front sight tool, very nice manual, bayonet/sheath, sling, target, warranty (most stuff on it three years...) Hmmm reminds me of my first CZ motocross racer in '67. Built like a mack truck and came with a ton of neat stuff :)

This rifle feels good, we'll see how it shoots. AND it's not restricted. Whitetail deer, anyone...?

The accessories look like Czech army stuff, used but nice, the rifle and four mags are brand new.

Glad to see you enjoy all things czech. I dont think we will be seeing the Armco prepped VZ's though? :) Maybe you could be the first person on CGN to devise a mount that clamps onto the barrel with some hex screws to mount a reddot sight.
 
I found them to be pretty sweet myself but I still haven't fired mine:eek: !
Safe queen since October '05 , along with 1800 rounds! What the hell is my problem anyway??? Oh yeah... I'm a CGN'er!!! :p

Tried mine out this past weekend.

Same story. It had been sitting in my safe since November.

I was amazed at the accuracy. Got a 3" grouping at 30 yards from the first mag of ammo and got better from there. Definitely out shoots my Yugo SKS.

The only problem I have with it is after 100 rounds my cheek developed a bruise from the stock bumping me due to recoil. I'll have to modify my position or look into a different stock.

Overall I'm really impressed with the rifle.
 
Do you also have the kits with the wood furniture? I think I'm catching the cz858 bug. Damn.
