My fourth handgun is a CZ97B, which I love, but it has issues. The big one is the loaded chamber indicator nut which can come off during use. Unfortunately, the nut has a lower flange which the chamber nests against so when the nut goes south, the barrel tips up just high enough to offset the firing pin. The result is you get a click instead of a boom. If you have a 97 you know this. :(

I sent my to Dlask Arms and they've changed the double set pins for a hex nut. They also installed one of their 3 1/2 lb triggers and took out the firing pin safety (piff, safety!).

I'll get to try it out next Thursday during my regular range day, this time outside for the first time this year. Should be fun. :)

The 2 issues I had with my CZ97B is the set screw for the loaded chamber came loose but i noticed it and now it has locktite holding it. Next is the grip panel screws keep coming loose, but I don't want to locktite them or I can't clean it with brakecleaner anymore. Using my own cast 200 grain LSWC from a lee tumble lube mold and W231 for powder it is a very accurate gun. 8 out of 10 in the ace of spades from 10 yards.(on a good day)

I had one for a couple years now and had no trouble with mine one the best 45cal i have shot
