Hi all, while helping and older gentleman rid himself of some unloved Enfields from his gun cabinet I came across a mint BRNO market Czech .22. He wants to sell it to me but I'd like to find out some more info so I can offer him a fair price.
The receiver has BRNO on top as well as some other writing and looks similar to pictures that I have seen on the Internet of the BRNO Garden 468. Don't flame me I will post pictures next Saturday morning when he is able to get the rifle out of storage! Like I say I was there for mulsurps and this .22 was an after thought.
Any constructive comments on where I could find out more about BRNO .22 (models and values) would be appreciated. I've checked the usual places on the net without much luck. However, the consensus seems to be that BRNO .22's are highly regarded. Thanks!
Turns out the rifle is a BRNO 468 with a Bushnell Banner .22 scope and I did end up buying it for the purpose of reselling it down the road (PM if interested). Bore is pristine. Pics added below:
