my first thoughts was its finish, its nice. it looks like paint buts very even and smooth. everything fits together well and it just feels right. the muzzle is threaded for a break or flash hider. the front sight is an ajustable post and is protected by wings. the barrel is a light contour and is chrome lined. the rear sights are ajustable out to 800 meters

the rifle its self comes to the shoulder nicely and just feels "right". the plastic furnature looks and feels well and doesent feel cheap. the stock take a bit of getting used too but a rubber butt pad and cheek pad are provided.

the action is smooth and simple to remove to clean the rifle. the locking mech is alot like a p 38 pistol. the rifle is fired by means of a striker. the only issue i have with this rifle is the mags. the look and feel cheap.

im hope i can be proven wrong about this. the plastic reminds me of the early 90's c7 type mags. even the follower is plastic.

sorry bad pic.

over all do i think its a one thousand dollar gun? no i dont. but try finding a non restricted semi auto 556 that will take ar 15 type mags (once the adapters are ready). this weekend i plan on putting a couple of hundred rounds through it and ill let you know what i think of it. ifs its not a shooter it will be on the ee by monday.

cool, thanks for posting!

I had the pleasure of holding one at TSE yesterday, feels nice, not much different than the cz858. The mags do feel cheap for the 556 model, like really cheap... but, they fit very snug and don't have much movement when inserted. I ordered a compact model in 762, can't wait to get it :)

About time somebody posted some pics of this thing! I posted a review of my impressions, but it didn't receive much interest (no photos?) it shot very well, I found...there was not much I did not like about this rifle. My main issue was that in the shoulder, it sat quite high (like thompson smg style) but the sights were quite low with my giant head, so I had to really squeeze my head low to get a good sight picture...all in all, a great gun...especially when the AR mag adapters come in!

Cheers!

well its been a few weeks since i got my rifle, so i took her to the range. i put through 120 55 grain ae black box through her. at 50 meters my best group was about 2 inches. i'll admit, im not a good shot but at 100 meters i made a 2 liter plastic juice container dance. i did not have a paper target set up at 100 meters but i could put just about all aimed rounds into the plastic container. the mags held up much better than i thought they would, they are NOT the same sub standard mags as the 90's plastic c7 mags. something to beware of.....this thing is loud! get a muzzle break. the owner of the range was standing next to me and he was surprised how loud it was, and the flash was about 2-3 feet long!
the rifle functioned great. no feed issues and no stoppages. i know i said this is not a 1000 dollar rifle, but i am wrong. for 1000 dollars you get a handy little rifle that is fun to shoot, accurate in the right hands ( not mine) and will function very well. thank you to the guys a wolverine for bringing these in and i think ill be ordering a carbine in the new year.
