Czech Surplus 7.62x39 $225 shipped

A couple of trips to the wikipidea explained the difference to me.
7.62x43 is same as 7.62x39, 43 in that case is the year it was accepted into service.
7.62x45 is a "short-lived" round used in VZ-52 and ZB-530 czech guns, and it's total length is about 4mm longer. And apparently it is much harder to come by.

How long to expect for an order to ship? Is it normal to take over a week?

Yes. There are TONNES of posts, particularly in the 1911 combo thread about shipping times. You should expect 3 weeks.

You Can Always Have And Option From 3 Things:
Fast
Inexpensive
Done Right

Can Am Excels at Inexpensive And Done Right :)

I just ordered 2 crates, no authorizations to transfer or related paper work, just ship those crates.... anyway, it s my first time dealing with Can Am so just wanted to make sure it was normal.
thx

There is no transfers or paperwork needed for ammo and non-restricted firearms, the just need your pal info when u place your order. That's it, it's that easy. Delivery is usually 2 weeks or so, just a FYI

Anyone shoot these with an XCR?

Normally shoot MFS non-Corr in my XCR but for days when the urge comes in to just blast lots of cheaper ammo with lots of cleaning afterward.

If by now you haven't noticed, Canam is great if you want something and speed isn't a factor. If your impatient or don't plan ahead then shop someplace else.....

Just ordered, thanks Canam for the great deals and free shipping, don't see any zombies on the horizon so not in a big hurry!
Cheers!

Yes they are slow at shipping but shipping is free....but at least they admit to it and don't hide the fact that they are slow at it. As for their customer service I know it's a person by person thing but my last order included some trigger locks. One was defective and I emailed them a day later I had a credit on my account.

Thanks Canada ammo.

yeh, pretty slow (2+ months since ordering 'the deal' and still don't have it) BUT...
they do have good deals, when my stuff does eventually get to me it's always done right and drama free, they have actually been pretty good about answering my emails, and FREE shipping for ammo gives them the win!!!

Not trying to detract from the percieved negative experiences of others, just throwing out a +1 vote for CanAm

SLOW TO SHIP,,,BUT FAST AT DELETING POSTS,,,LOL,,,how about putting the site watchdog to work in the shipping department,,,LOL..

^Thus far none of my posts were deleted and I rip them one for fast charging of CC but slow transfer process, guess they don't mind factual constructive criticism. Some of the childish posts deserve deleting. My "1911 deal" took 10 weeks so patience is a virtue. Too bad no pickup for us local folks.

Seriously considering this deal for my XCR, so has anyone had success shooting this surplus out of an XCR?
