I don't know if anyone else has noticed yet but cases of Czech 7.62x39 are on sale at Wholesale Sports Winnipeg for $199! I'm breaking out the credit card as we speak!
 
I bought a case of this stuff yesterday at wws. I'm sitting on 2200 rounds now woot!

I always convince my wife that it's no big deal for me to get a new gun then ammo goes on sale and it's twice as hard to convince her I need two boxes to shoot for $400
On the website it said that the boxes have gotten smaller in round count and it's down to 800 is that correct or a misinformed statement?

The one I picked up was 1200 rounds. Maybe you got it mixed up with the 7.62x54 for the Nagants and SVT's? Those are 880 round crates.
 
Thanks for the clarification. I had read a review and someone griped about the amount in the box. Thanks for the confirmation, now just on to the convincing of the wife!
 
Hey, I got an email, 10 percent off all non discounted firearms for the next few days too! Not sure if it applies to surplus but they have Mosins, SVT and SKS in stock. It'd be worth asking for anyone looking for one of these. Their prices are already not bad.
 
1200 round green crates. They have about a dozen left sitting out. I have 2 in my jeep right now. Decent deal. If people want them, I'd advise going soon.
 
I thought the Czech stuff comes in 1120 round crates? Got one left and that's what it says. 80 rounds, whatever... they come on stripper clips and are one of the better surplus varieties.
