I red review today that “ CZ 85 combat barrel has shallow rifling and a relatively fast twist. This means that it may not shoot lead bullets as accurately as FMJ and it may be prone to leading.
Any ideas about lead in prticular

Don't buy any gun that is not compatible with all bullet types, these days, with all the shortages, you need a gun that will shoot everything esp. cast bullets.

I have a cz shadow in 9mm. It shoots cast bullets well. However not all bullet styles work. Accuracy is on par with jacketed approximately 3 inches at 25 yards.

I tried a lee 356-125-2R
did not work. Had to use a lee TL356-124-2R. I have a Mihec 147 grain 6 cavity mold on the way, coming from slovenia, there are gunnutz every where.

Looks like this advice will work for me also
Thanks

I shoot a lot of lead bullets in my cZs. I use a fairly light powder charge, usully 700X and have not had a leading problem in the barrel. Accuracy in all my cZs has been excellent.

I should mention that I oven treat the bullets and quenched them to bring up their hardness. 9mm is running around 30,000 psi. I treat it much like I was casting for a rifle. Hardened, but no gas checks.
