CZSP01 & CZ75B slides interchangeable?

Just a question: i have an SP01 and am considering buying a 75 in 40 s&w. would it be possible to put the 40 slide and barrel on the Sp01 frame? and vice versa? i'd then have the first SP01 in 40. yeah, i know it wouldn't be production legal, i'd do just 'cause i could. is it a hairbrained idea, or would it work?

It would probably work, but would look ###. The SP-01 slide and frame are full width to the end, the "normal" 75 is tappered toward the end... along with the slide rail.

It will work,just ask this same question over on CZshooters.com.Dude says yes,ran fine.would think it would look not to bad because the .40 has a fuller front to it then the 9mm.
