D.A. Grizzly Question

HI. i just got my D.A. Grizzly 12.5 ". the gun came with pistol grip and fix stock.
if i put the pistol grip into the gun .is the D.A. Grizzly still NR ????

Need 2 more inches

The pistol grip makes the Over All lenght 2 inches to short. Now this may nor may not make it restricted. But if you think you need 2 more inches, just add a choke the sticks out the 2 inches for the needed OAL.

Please search this one, it's been covered, there is no concrete answer, our laws are dumb and ambiguous. Just think, are you really up to justifying your very short pistol gripped shotgun to an LEO when they get out the tape measure?


....Greg-Guy, 2 inches seems like a long way for a choke to stick out, ad the 12" grizz is the only one that is threaded for chokes at present... so you'd need more than 2 inches to get to 26" OAL, besides you'd likely have to weld the choke in place for it to count anyway this goes for flash hiders too.

here's the 14" with pisol grip and it comes in just short of the 26" mark

Also .i recived the firearm registration certificate.today.
it said the barral length is ( Less Than 470mm )
is that mean short that 18"5"???
My the other NR All is said ( 470mm or greater )
what different ?? is cfc make mistake ??

Just to clarify, adding a choke of any legth does NOT change the length of the barrel.

Nope, welded, soldered, pinned, etc. atachments to a barrel do NOT add to the barrels length.
They can add to the OAL of the firearm but not barrel length.

x2, he is right. i talked to the cfc about adding lenght to a 12.6 barrel once, and they said the exact same thing.
