Just brought home a DPSM Oracle the other day. It came with one 5/30 round mag, which happens to be a D&H Tactical mag. I'm having issues with it not fitting in the mag well properly. Seems like its an issue with the way they riveted it. The river protrudes from the back of the mag and makes putting it in and removing it from the AR very difficult. I tried an LAR mag in the same gun and it fits fine. Anyone else having issues with these mags, or is it just me?
 
Happens all the time not just you or specific to D&H mags, just file down it down a little. problem is the rivets are not MIL spec ;) , so depends on who the did the pinning and where they bought the rivets from some have a slight dome head some are flat.
 
All the D&H mags I bought from Saskgunworks have the rivet in the front. Works in my AR rifles, Tavor and now T97. Great mags.
 
My only problem with the D&H mags from SGW is that they are pinned to 5 and not 5.5. Can't get them to lock on a closed bolt in my Tavor.

Some do and some don't. The majority of mine do but you're right I also wish it was set to 5.5 not 5.
 
I tried to get inside the mag with a long drill bit to put a small dimple in the follower, but it was to much of a pain in the neck. Might have worked better if I had the mag in a vice.
