Been debating shooting open division in 3-gun for a while, but always figured that if I were to bother I might as well go full retard.

So with that in mind, I bought a backup shadow with the intention of hacking up and not being upset if I FUBARd it.

And I give you... Ghetto Race Run! Haha. Full disclosure, I've been a Machinist for 16 years, Journeyman Red Seal for 10 of 'em. So it's not exactly bubba's DIY job, but I did kind of just make it all up as I went.

The 90° mount is a Cheely that came off an STI, but the offset is almost perfect. I made the charging handle out of Titanium (Which is super hard to knurl with crappy knurling tools). Aaand just pulled numbers out of my @ss for the barrel/slide porting after referencing what Magnaport does. Might lighten the slide a bit more, I dunno. Didn't blow up, still have all my fingers. Winning!

Looking good, next job a magwell?

Probably won't bother with a magwell. The CZ mags have a pretty decent taper, and the factory Shadow frame has a bit of a flare to it anyways. I've been running a stock Shadow for years, and never really felt like a magwell would make much of a difference.

I love it, but it looks like its weighty!

It's not TOO much heavier than stock (Titanium slide racker, aluminum optic mount, polymer c-more), but I like the weight it did add. Heavier pistol is easier to keep on target.
