I have a fair amount of that powder may have to give it a go anyone tried the 170 SST on game ? I know that I have been using the 180 ballistic tip and it is a lot and it is tougher than most ballistic tips

I have some 170gr SST loaded in one of my 8mm's, just a matter of time before i get to use them on game. I tested the 170gr in wood medium and seems to hold up alright. Nothing special, im expecting lots of expansion with these bullets. Seem to have thin jackets unlike nosler's 180gr 8mm.

As long as they have the Interlock Rings, they should be OK
