D4064 in 223 Rem

Made up a couple of loads, didnt go above 23 grain, but no pressure issues up to there. Use 69 matckings in my 223 Savage LRPV. My gopher bullets, so it will work just fine. Lapua brass, federal match primers. 1-9” twist barrel.

Is that the super short cut variant or the regular D4064? I'm looking to pick some up for .223 and .308 cast loads.

Thats regular, not short cut. Works great in my 308 as well.

I'll be trying some D4064SSC in my 223 tomorrow. Remington brass, 62gr FMJ, 700 Varmint.

I usually shoot varget in my 223, but would like to save it for my 308. Obviously its working good in my gun. My load with Varget is 24.9 using berger 70 vld, or for gophers, i just use 69 matchkings. So not too far off from my varget load. Will chrono and see what it does.

Just picked up 10 lbs when I found out it isn't ideal for max velocity, but it works in just about every single rifle I own... Got a baby on the way. I'm stock piling supplies for the future
